Yes, my birthday week, not just a one day birthday:) My husband and Kaylee got it started on Sunday. They were so excited that they gave me my birthday present early. I wanted to wait til Thursday to open it, but they kept insisting, so I did. It was exactly what I wanted! A Macbook Pro! I can work on my blogs more now that I don't have to wait for everyone to be done with their homework.
On my actual birthday, what I really wanted to do was to work on my current project which is our spare bedroom/junk room/study room. That's what I did. As soon as I got home from work, I started painting. I've gotten plenty phone calls from friends and family to see what I was doing for my birthday. I got one reply, "I'm painting."

It was heartwarming that my friends went out of their way to see me for lunch or dropped by the house to celebrate my birthday. Four cakes & LOT of candles - yup, I truly felt special. I requested pancit from my mom for my birthday dinner. Plain and simple!
That wasn't just it though. My best friend, Diana, made bottle reservations at RumFire Friday night. Oh yes, a night out! If you're looking for a nice place to celebrate in Waikiki, RumFire is THE place! Awesome service, great food and very nice ambiance and crowd!

It was definitely the birthday party I never had on my 21st! We all had a blast! Bestie sure can throw a party. The last time I partied that hard was Diana's bachelorette party in Las Vegas. I was pooped!
The following day was game day! It's the first UH football game of the season! My co-worker hooked me up with tickets. I love freebies! My daughter and I went and had a great time. Our team lost, but it was a good game nevertheless.

I had a very busy birthday week, and great part was it's a Labor Day weekend! I had an extra day to recupurate before going back to normal workweek. Thank you to my family and friends who made me feel like a VIP all week!
