I'm Danielle. I'm a military wife, working mom who loves to cook, watch movies & oh yeah - going to the beach! You can't live in Hawaii and not love the beach. I also have a new-found passion - D.I.Y.'s! Being an accountant, I realized I've been sitting behind the desk crunching numbers for far too long. It's time to explore other things I can do other than financial statements! Besides, my D.I.Y. projects relieve me from stress and keep me sane. I'm new to blogging, and I'm here to share adventures, recipes & my projects.
In my site, I hope to inspire you to do those little things you love to do, or wish to do... So you want to paint a room? Go paint a room! You want to cook jambalaya? Go cook jambalaya! I want to blog, so I blog. These little things are what make up beautiful moments. Possibilities are just endless!
While I used to think I'm too busy at work to do any D.I.Y.'s, I've always told myself I can do it "later" or "someday", but then I entered my 30's. Oh-Em-Gee! Forget later or someday, I'm doing it NOW! As you can see, blogging is one of my NOW moments...
Unlike the generations before us, information is very accessible. Step by step instructions, video tutorials and photos are instant. Gone are those days we say, "but I don't know how to do it." Sure we have limitations like time, might and money, but that's when we have to be resourceful to use what's available.
Life is too short to wait for things to happen. Go and make them happen for you.
