How to make a fabric flower

I have all these scrap fabric that my mom hoards.  She doesn't really like it when I use the word "hoard" on her.  Haha! It's true, she doesn't like throwing away fabrics.  She always tells me she might be able to use them to make quilts, which she never has time between work and chores.  I mean I have to literally nag her everyday when I need her to make something for me and take her to a Filipino restaurant as a bribe. Hehehhe...  Anyway, back to scrap fabric, I have to find a way to make use of it without sewing.  So I thought fabric flowers!

First is to find a circle pattern, trace and cut fabric into circles. I used lids, cups and bowls as my patterns.

Then fold in half and then fold again to make this triangle shape, and then use hot glue to hold the shape

Little triangles ready to form beautiful flowers!

I used clothes pin to hold the hot glue & fabric together to prevent the risk of burning my fingers.

Cut a round felt and stick the triangles on the felt using hot glue.

Tada!! You got yourself fabric flowers!

And I got carried away...

I also used the same steps using felt.  Felt makes a fluffy flower.  Now, I just have to figure out what to do with these flowers...  

Even my daughter said, "Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!"
