Hello guys! Today I would like to share three cheap & cute goodie bag ideas for kids. I was thinking of what I could send to my daughter's class for Easter. Chocolate bars are discouraged by her school which makes it tougher to make something for kids plus I didn't want to spend that much. I found a lot of cool ideas on Pinterest, and I am sharing three of my favorites - Bunny Food, Bunny Poop & Bunny Tails.
These are super easy and fast to do. My favorite part is that they're very cheap. I'm also sharing free templates should you want to make them for the kiddos this Easter Sunday.

(Tip: If you're making all of these 3 goodie bags, it's best to prep. Print all labels and cut them first.)
I have free templates for you guys to use if you wish!

BUNNY TAIL GOODIES
First is the Bunny Tail. All you need is the following: Mini marshmallows $0.99/16 oz. Snack bags $1.50/50 bags Labels Stapler
Step 1: Print your label on regular copy paper, then cut & fold.
Step 2: Fill the snack bags with marshmallows. Step 3: Staple the label on the bags. One bag of marshmallows (16oz) yield 18 bags, so I had to open another bag to make 6 more bags as there are 24 kids in Kaylee's class. 30 minutes and $3.50 later, they're done! These really just cost me $2 for 24 goodies, since I already have the snack bags plus we have about 3/4 of the marshmallow bag left. |
BUNNY POOP GOODIES
Second is the Bunny Poop. These are all you need: Cocoa Puffs cereal $ 3.50/family size box Snack bags $1.5/50 bags Labels Just repeat the steps as the Bunny Tails. Step 1: Print your label on regular copy paper, then cut & fold. Step 2: Fill the snack bags with Cocoa Puffs Step 3: Staple the label on the bags. This also took about 15-30 minutes and $3.50 since I already have snack bags.
(Tip: You may also use colored paper to print the templates.)

This project costs $14, which is still pretty good for 24 goodie bags, plus I only went through half of the giant jar of cheese balls. You may also use any orange stuffing like Goldfish or Cheetos. I chose Cheese Balls because it's the cheapest way to go.

Third is the Bunny Food. Compare to the first two, this is most expensive one. Here's what you need: Cheese Balls $6.99 (giant container) Disposable Icing plastic bags $7/24 bags Green Ribbon (I already have this, but I would say it's about $2 for 5 yards.) BUNNY FOOD GOODIES
Step 1: Print the labels on a full page label/sticker, then cut.
Step 2: Place the stickers on the bags. Don't do it after putting the cheese balls as it's going the be harder to stick since the bag won't be a flat surface. **You may omit steps 1 & 2.** Step 3: Fill about 3/4 of the bags with Cheese Balls. Step 4: Twist the top of the bag, then tie it with the green ribbon. Step 5: Curl the ribbon with scissors. |
So which one is your favorite?
There you go! I hope you enjoyed this post as I have enjoyed making these goodie bags. Kaylee had a lot of fun making these with me as well. I think she's more excited to tell her classmates she had bunny food, poop and tails for them. Happy Easter!!!
