My bestfriend's wedding is fast approaching. We decided to do an afternoon tea party with some fancy hats to offset that wild, crazy time in Las Vegas for her bachelorette party. I made the invitations (through Microsoft Publisher). I just put Victorian borders around and print them on a nice 89lb shimmery ivory paper. I ordered heart shaped tea infusers from Beaucomp.com for our party favors. The infusers came fast and very cute!
We had the tea party at Orchids in Halekulani Hotel. The oceanfront view was beautiful, and the tea service was great! Just perfect! Oh did I mentioned it was a hat party? Well, it was! I always wanted to wear a nice fancy hat, but never had a reason to without looking like I just lost it.

We didn't have games as I know two hours was going to be too short just catching up with each other. Although I had a special treat... My ampersand frame! I had everyone guess how many thumbtacks I used to make it, and whoever guess the closest keeps it. And guess who won?! Our lovely bride!!! Overall, it was an afternoon full of laughter with awesome friends. I would love to do it again ;)
